Itinerary;

Day 1: Istanbul Arrival

Arrival in Istanbul airport. private transfer to your 4 star centrally located hotels. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 : Istanbul

08.30 a.m. Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment. Overnight in Istanbul. ( B. )

Day 3 : Istanbul - Overnight sleeper Train to Ankara

08.20 a.m. pick up from hotel for half day Bosphorus cruise and spice market tour. free afternoon and evening transfer to Istanbul haydarpasa Train station. Overnight Sleeper train to Ankara. ( B. )

Day 4 : Ankara - Cappadocia

Early morning Arrival in Ankara train station. met by our guide and transfer to city center to start to visit to the world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum also known as Hittite Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the Turkish hero. Then departure for Cappadocia and lunch on the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. Arrival to the Cappadocia region and overnight ( L. D. )

Day 5 : Cappadocia

After having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia .( B. L. D. )

Day 6 : Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale

Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit to the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and arrival in Konya. Lunch. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide famous mystic, proceed to Karatay Theological School in which beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight. ( B. L. D. )

Day 7 : Pamukkale - Kusadasi

In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the Theatre, Apollo Temple and magnificent Necropolis, the graveyard. Then drive to Aphrodisias and lunch. Later visit to the ruins and the museum. Drive to Kusadasi and overnight. ( B. L. D. )

Day 8 : Ephesus

Morning tour to Ephesus area with Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses are excluded), Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; Virgin Mary’s House, Selcuk Ephesus Museum and St. John Church. Overnight in Kusadasi .( B. L. D. )

Day 9 : Pergamum - Canakkale

Early departure for Bergama and visit to the Asclepion and Acropol with the well preserved remains. Lunch and drive to Assos for a short visit to the village. Continue on to Canakkale for overnight (When there is unavailability at the hotels in Canakkale there might be overnight in Assos as well).( B. L. D. )

Day 10 : Troy - Gallipoli - Istanbul

After breakfast drive to Troy, the place where the legendary Trojan War took place in the historical work of Homer of Smyrna. After visiting the site with nine inhabitation levels covering a period of 3000 years, drive to Canakkale and lunch. Thereafter sail to the other side of Dardanelles by a ferryboat and drive to Istanbul with visit to Gallipoli, historically famous for being the site of many battles - particularly involving the Allied Forces including Australians and New Zealanders during World War I. Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel or airport. ( B. L.)

Day 11 : Home

Pick up from and transfer to Istanbul airport for flight back home. .( B. )
